places we used to know

This project captures fleeting glimpses of places around Guelph, Ontario on the verge of transformation.  Using antiquated black and white film to capture shadows of places soon to be swallowed up by urbanization and rapid change.  The present environment is transformed into a memory.  The piece is an archive of what once was that invites the audience to imagine what will one day be.
places we used to know is produced with the assistance of the Liaison of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT).
